Chopperline flight training is based on the Sunshine Coast at Caloundra airport. It is recognised as one of the best flying schools in Australia.

The company first started operating in 1977 in Bankstown, New South Wales and was known then as City and Country Helicopters PTY LTD. In 1980 the company relocated to Caloundra Airport.

In 2007 Chopperline was purchased by the Curry Kenny Aviation Group which is possibly the largest privately owned aviation company in Australia.

Curry Kenny Aviation Holdings has grown, mainly through acquisitions, to become a major player in the Australian and Papua New Guinea aviation industry. The group has steadily grown in size to about a dozen aeroplane and helicopter companies which operate over seventy aircraft ranging from the Robinson R22 training helicopter to the multi engine IFR Bell 430 used in off shore marine pilot transfer and SAR operations. Aeroplane types include the Cessna Citation Jet, Cessna Caravans and other smaller aircraft used in training and tourism operations. The group owns and operates maintenance facilities at all their major bases.

The company specialises in flight training for both fixed wing and rotary as well as offering a range of endorsements. Joy flights, charters, sling work as well as aerial photography are just a few additional categories we also specialise in.

Our flying school currently operates a number of aircraft ranging from the Robinson R22, Robinson R44, Bell 206 & 206L, Cessna 172 and Navajo

At Chopperline we pride ourselves in quality training that provides the nation with exceptional pilots. We use own maintenance facility next door at Helicentre which is also member of the Curry Kenny Aviation Group.
