Private Aeroplane Licence to a Commercial Helicopter Licence, 70 Hours in a Robinson R22

This course is approximately 17 weeks and is designed for a holder of a Private Aeroplane Licence.
The theory course is conducted in house at Chopperline using industry standard course material. The duration of the course is 9 weeks and covers all 7 subjects required by CASA.

At Chopperline we recommend completing your theory before commencing your flight training, this will enable you to focus on your practical training with minimal disruptions.
The Australian CPL licence will allow you to work anywhere in Australia and any country provided the aircraft is Australian registered. This licence may lead to job opportunities in the tourism and mustering industry which is a starting point for any new aviator.

Fee includes all ground theory training, including texts books, maps, charts and exams,70 hours of helicopter flight training to commercial pilot standard, flight test fees and other charges. The commercial course is GST free. Please refer to the course time table for course dates.

Commercial Aeroplane to a Commercial Helicopter Licence, 60 Hours in a Robinson R22 Helicopter This Eight week course is designed for a holder of a Commercial Aeroplane Licence. You are required to complete 4 CASA theory exams in which you have the choice of sitting the in house ground school.
We recommend completing your theory before commencing your flight training, this will enable you to focus on your practical training with minimal disruptions.

Private Aeroplane Licence to Private Helicopter Licence, 38 Hours in a Robinson R22

This is a five week course that is designed for a pilot that holds a private fixed wing licence or higher who wishes to obtain a Private Helicopter Licence.

Applicants must pass a private theory exam that covers all 7 subjects. The theory can be self studied or you can upgrade to the theory course that is run in house to commercial standard. Length of this course is 9 weeks long.

Fee includes,38 hours of helicopter flight training to private pilot standard, flight test fees and other charges. The private course attracts GST. Please refer to the course time table for course dates.

OVERSEAS CONVERSION COURSES

Overseas Flight Crew Licence to an Australian Licence CPL

A holder of a valid foreign CPL licence that has been issued by an ICAO Contracting State, may convert this licence to an Australian CPL.

You must pass the Flight Rules and Air Law exam as well as a flight test. Either CLWA (fixed wing) or CLWH (Helicopter). You will have the option of sitting the ground school in house at Chopperline or self studying the syllabus.

Overseas Flight Crew Licence to an Australian Licence PPL

A holder of a valid foreign PPL licence that has been issued by an ICAO Contracting State, may convert this licence to an Australian PPL.

You must pass the Overseas Conversion Examination Either PAOS (fixed wing) or PHOS (Helicopter).
You will have the option of sitting the ground school in house at Chopperline or self studying the syllabus.
