Nathan Scard
Curry Kenny Group General Manager
Nathan Scard is the Curry Kenny Aviation Group General Manager, in addition to his role as General Manager of Chopperline.
Nathan’s aviation career started at the age of 16 in 1989 when he was granted an apprenticeship as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer at Coolangatta Airport. Within 4 years Nathan gained his AME License and accepted the Chief Engineer’s position at a leading PNG rotary wing operator. Nathan worked in PNG for 7 years and during that time completed his CPL(H) with Chopperline in 1994.
Nathan left PNG to pursue a flying opportunity at Gladstone conducting Marine Pilot Transfer’s and general charter in MD520’s and AS350’s building his flying experience. Nathan is now well equipped to handle all facets of the position of Group General Manager and holds a current AME license for fixed and rotary wing aircraft, a weight control authority and is IFR command endorsed on all of the rotary wing fleet that the group own and operate.
