Mark Munn
Chief Flying Instructor: Fixed Wing
Mark holds an ATPL(A) and has Australian and United Kingdom CAP509 (JAR) Flight Instructor Ratings. He has been an instructor since 1993. Mark spent ten years employed by the Civil Aviation Authority (Aust) with his last role with them being Engineering Surveyor Airways & Aerodromes.
Mark has worked for Federal and Local Government departments and for private business in numerous flying and survey roles. He has been Airline Operations Controller for National Jet Systems and QANTAS AirLink. Mark was founding CEO of MALI Enterprises, an aviation consulting and property development company.
Mark has been a charter pilot, flight and theory instructor and spent 6 years with British Aerospace/ BAE systems instructing international airline cadets. Mark's extensive experience includes being Chief Pilot of an aircraft charter company and Check and Training Officer for seaplane operations.
Colin Schulte
Grade 1 Fixed Wing Instructor
After working for many years in IT Operations with a number of Government departments, Colin completed his aeroplane instructor rating with Chopperline Flight Training in 1996 and subsequently worked as a fixed wing instructor in Redcliffe and Caboolture.
Later that year Colin commenced a full time position with Chopperline Flight Training as a Grade 1 Fixed Wing Instructor and was appointed Chief Flying Instructor/ATO Fixed Wing in 2000. Shortly after, the fixed wing school began operating under the new name of Coastline Flight Training.
Colin took a break from flying in 2003 to pursue a retail business in Brisbane but returned to instructing at Coastline Flight Training as CFI in 2006 until his business commitments meant changing his CFI role to part-time Grade 1 Instructor. After 18 months Colin was able to return to Coastline Flight Training full time as a Grade 1 Fixed Wing Instructor.
Adam Field
Grade 2 Fixed Wing Instructor
Originally from the United Kingdom, Adam started flying as a teenager soon after immigrating to Australia and has been flying for over 20 years. Adam gained his Commercial Pilot Licence in 1994 and worked in Air Traffic Control at Brisbane International Airport for 9 years, whilst working part time as a flying instructor. After three years working at the Ambulance Communications Centres in both Brisbane and Maroochydore Adam started full time flying with Coastline Flight Training in April 2007. Adam currently holds a Senior Grade 2 Instructor rating, and Multi IFR qualifications.
